Pondside Retrievers strives to be a peaceful haven where our retrievers can grow, play and flourish to reach their full potential as companion animals. We enjoy many hours of recreation with our dogs through such activities as agility, dock diving, scent work, rally-o, and just plain fun in our own yard. We love helping rescued retrievers find their way to loving forever homes, providing socialization and training to get them off to a great start. We are also proud to provide excellent pure bred Labradors to ensure the continuation of this wonderful breed.
We generally produce one or two litters a year. Our dogs are an integral part of our family and all puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized. Prior to being bred our dogs will have completed a thorough health screening including DNA testing for common Labrador diseases. They also will have had hips, elbows, heart, and eyes certified through the OFA.
